So if pot is legalized all over, do you think it would be 33% white, 33% black and 33% Hispanic in the prisons?????

If pot is legalized which seems to me is the only issue in question, the racial makeup would be more like 0% white, 0% black and 0% hispanic.

the good news would be criminals would be able to progress on to more violent crimes before they cross paths with our judicial system.

Now that's funny!
Non-conformance to Caucasian Western European American racist values will always result in more non-Western European Americans running afoul of the USA Legal system.

Ingesting cannabis is not a violent crime.
The fact that USA laws prohibit personal decisions is what makes cannabis related crimes 'violent'.

The legalization of pot will not empty the jails....murder, robbery, fraud, etc. are still illegal.

I have a personal decision to rob or murder someone......thank goodness the laws prohibit such actions by me.

Never said otherwise. Thus the qualified statement, "the only issue in question" so in the case of cannabis only, there would be no prisoners to classify racial makeup if cannabis becomes legal across the country.

and legalizing murder would ensure the jails would be even emptier.
