Don't act like our health care system is much better. Especially after the past decade of the Conservatives passing more and more costs onto the provinces.
yea im well aware they are trying to defund and privatize the current healthcare system here. and canadians are very docile, so it shouldnt be too hard, except maybe we expect single payer healthcare, and 40% of the americans still dont.

Unless we have mass immigration, our system is going to have to privatize anyways. We simply cannot afford it with health costs growing out of control on a year to year basis. Add to that, the growing numbers of baby boomers who are hitting retirement age, our system is about to become that much more taxed.
Eventually something will have to change but until then, we will just continue to see our system get gutted.

our system is still half as expensive as teh american one. but i would think if theres no public outcry they will try and privatize health along with any other government program they can sink their teeth into.
how about the fact that 60% of all federal tax dollars go to the military empire
