This is what media does to the brain. Every problem in the world is your problem. Nothing gets done and folks virtue signal. Turn off the propaganda machine and cut your grass. Your neighbor is offended by your laziness.

the media tells us every problem in the world is your problem as an individual

if youre unhappy its always your fault as an individual the media tells us.

Ricky I agree with you a ton, but one of my biggest criticisms of the left is lack of self personal responsibility

So often the left wants the government to do everything and they take no blame in their part of society or their individual problems

I’ll see all the time on reddit people complaining about climate change and the government needs to fix it, but when you point actions they take that contribute to climate change, they say catchy phrases like “there’s no ethical consumption under capitalism”.

They’ll bring up climate change, and if you mention them driving cars and eating a bunch of meat, which are the two biggest contributors to climate change, suddenly it’s not their fault it’s the corporations

But these corporations are just providing services that we pay for. Society has to change from individuals demanding the change. We can’t just wave a wand and have the government fix everything. Individuals are society

This opinion will not be popular because people on here and the right don’t believe in climate change, so it’s not a good example for this site, but it is what it is

These corporations aren’t just producing pollution for the fun of it. They’re supplying services that we are paying for, and until that slows down significantly or stops, they’ll keep doing it. And if individuals take no personal responsibility for themselves, society won’t change

Bringing in illegal immigrants to drive down wages and create a perpetual servant underclass is the kind of free market you like to see, eh? You're just like the rest of the leftists.
Then maybe we should be going after the business and corporations hiring illegal immigrants to pay lower wages

The libertarian view point on immigration is that illegal immigration in itself is not a crime, nobodies rights were violated. It is up to the business whether they should hire them or not, not the government.

I have strayed a bit from the full libertarian view, I believe there should be some standards, I don’t believe a business should be able to decline service to someone for being black.

But I believe we are scapegoating the individuals trying to make a better life for their family, which I would bet all of us would do the same if we were in their position.

I just think it’s very interesting the vitriol for the individuals, and almost complete silence about the businesses hiring them

We let in about a million people a year through legal immigration. They were vetted, submitted to health exams, and waited their turn. In the last four years the Biden administration not only let in over 10 million people through the southern border but they even went to other countries and flew in hundreds of thousands. Never in our history have so many people come in this quickly. And some countries, particularly Venezuela, sent their entire prison populations north. Now we've got serious criminals running around. It's not a matter of scapegoating all immigrants. Last year 8 men from Tajikistan, who were on our terror watch list and affiliated with ISIS, were captured and deported. But after they were already in the country. Over two million people were gotaways in the last four years.. As Tom Homan pointed out the other day, these people didn't turn themselves in to get a comfortable bed, food, transportation to a city of their chouce, and a comfortable hotel room with money for groceries. These were people who paid the cartels extra to get them in. To what purpose? We better hope we don't have a huge terrorist event or if we do go to war that we aren't sabotaged from within. There's more to border security than just keeping out good people who just want to work.
