I realize that our pension is not administered by our union local.

Anyone ever take a lump sum from the pension? You can take from $10,000 to $50,000. Your pension check does decrease though not by much if so how did that work out for you

Not everyone has a pension that will allow you to do that.

2200 less a year for 25k, seems like a garbage deal bro. Maybe I'm missing something here, but you'd have to make 9% on that money to break even right?

Correction it’s $114.00. Less pension amount for 25000 dollars
So $4400 turns into $4286. They TAX u too on the $25000 all in all if u can afford it take the money buy a new car

Ya 114 seems closer to the typical 6% reduction. As for buying a new car with the money.... u a dum dum.
