I'm just repeating what you told us. Look, I've encountered scores of people in the same position you're in. They try to hide the fact that they don't have a pot to pee in or a window to through it out of have made use of social program benefits in the past and will do so in the future by demonizing the people who had the foresight to bring the legislation that created those programs to fruition.

A prime example. Last fall when my brother was in a nursing home recovering from a bleeding abdominal aneurysm and severe infection there was this old guy in the room with him constantly condemning and demonizing the left. Tired of listening to it my brother asked the guy who was footing the bills he was ringing up. His answer?..... Medicaid.
Cool story bro.

Did you read that? Do you find the history of slavery to be somehow taboo? The description of the curriculum for K-5 and 6-12 seem fairly logical and straightforward. Why is that objectionable?
I see you can discuss slavery with no problem but when I ask you for clarification about something with FedEx, you ghost me. Real nice.

And where and when have I demonized anything or anybody other than pointing out we must get spending under control and we're too much in debt now? That Democrats use spending to make people dependent on them to get their vote? For some reason you seem to believe that the government is a bottomless well that can pay for anything without someday that will bite them.

No, @bacha29 believes conservatives should pay their fair share of taxes and not expect anything in return for them. That way there will be more for him.

BTW bacha, George Foreman is a conservative, Trump supporter, and a Medicare (Advantage) shill. Go tell him to renounce HIS government benefits. He'll start your racial transformation-with a black eye!

You’re right. I’m not getting it. I’m looking for the parts of CRT that suggest being white is fundamentally wrong. What statements do they make to promote that idea? What parts of history do they leave out or obscure in order to make white people seem evil?
This isn't a strict apples to apples comparison, but this crap was common in the 90's when I was in college.

Some are fast and loose with the facts, others aren't. It doesn't really matter, as the travesty is in the "what it means" category and the lack of context. The purpose isn't to get you to believe a collection or series of events, but rather to come away from the course(s) with certain attitudes and beliefs about society. The gist of it is that our society is riddled with problems, all of which are the fault of the white male patriarchy and can be solved if the white male patriarchy is sufficiently and severely punished.

Again, this isn't K-12, but it's been taught in colleges for decades.

I wouldn’t say that all problems at the fault of the “white male patriarchy”, but I would say that from the beginning of this nation they have held the vast majority of the wealth and power. I would also point out that at no time have they been eager to see that change.

Since you're worried about people becoming dependent on government you can do your part and stand on your principles and do the most anti Democrat thing you ever did.... Simply not apply for benefits. Yeah right... You'll be right there to apply the moment you become eligible.
Conservatives including those who think they are and those who would like to have been if only there were rich enough don't like being called out to actually do something in defense of their rhetoric because it would be painful and contrary to their own self interests.
They always want somebody else they think are gaming the system to make those sacrifices.

Wrong I've simply joined with other progressives who are saying to the pseudo conservatives...."if the programs we've passed into law are so counter productive to the interests of the nation then what the hell are you doing trying draw every dime of benefits you can position yourself in a way that will allow you to get the most? The fact that you're there seeking those benefits conclusively proves the need for the creation of the program. Furthermore, what would this nation look like in the eyes of our political adversaries and ideological foes if we failed to care for our aged , sick and poor citizens, they would capitalize on it to the fullest extent in an effort to convince the rest of the world that our system of government is flawed , their system is better and will point the way forward for the entire world".

Then how about reparations to these "pseudo conservatives" refunding all the taxes, with compound interest, that have been stolen from them all their life?

Swindlers, all of your kind.

If able bodied adults are staying home and not working how is that good for the system we live in? And Social Security and Medicare, programs we paid into, are there for us to use when we are no longer of working age and need assistance. Entirely different from a healthy 40 yr old who is being given extra money to stay home and not work. You can try to spin it any way you want but the current administration is letting the country down and your party will pay for it in the midterm election.

I think he's referring to the time when you apply for your benefits at the SS office before they commence. But the idea that we're hypocrites for using what we paid into is pretty stupid even by his standards @bacha29
Yes everyone has explained how ridiculous his logic is a thousand times.

If he was robbed and the police recovered his property, he wouldn't refuse to take it back because he is against theft.

He thinks he's exposing Republicans as hypocrites and frauds. His party set up the system, by law take our money to fund the system, but we aren't supposed to benefit from said system because we oppose wasteful spending and constantly creating new ways to spend, increasing our debt to ridiculous levels. He has no problem passing on that debt to following generations and appears to think there are no negative consequences to increasing debt to such high levels. @bacha29

European immigrants transformed the continent from a barely-inhabited land with pockets of small societies of hunter/gatherers to a modern, functioning, and productive society and white people have been the most populous demographic for a couple of centuries. Why wouldn't they hold the majority of wealth and power? They brought it here.

I would also point out that at no time have they been eager to see that change.
How much of your personal wealth and/or power are you looking to get rid of?

If Darwin was correct, and evolution is a consequence of Survival of the Fittest, then 'white supremacy' is not a device invented by the Caucasians, but simply a result of evolution, and as such, should not be labelled evil.
