You do understand that the post office agreed to the terms of the agreement also don't you? No loophole.Leave it to FedEx and ups to find a loophole in the postal regulations to let this happen..
Yeah, forget the booze and cigarettes, go for the cardboard. All good until someone goes into a 7-11 and breaks into the lockers at 1am while the cashier is sleeping or in the back...then 7-11 isn't going to want the liability...just wait and see.
go for the cardboard if there is an iPad or iPhone in thereYeah, forget the booze and cigarettes, go for the cardboard.
I know what you're saying but there was a time when ups would never of thought to give the post office our workYou do understand that the post office agreed to the terms of the agreement also don't you? No loophole.
You mean that time before fedex (our #1 competitor) started doing it?I know what you're saying but there was a time when ups would never of thought to give the post office our work
This wouldn't be our volume. It would be fedex volume more than likely. Not saying we'd be bankrupt no but I'd rather have ups get $5 per package than zero. The ups workforce would be less than it is now if we didn't have surepost. And ups will go bankrupt if we don't give X percent of volume to the Po ...really
Why would they do this? Other than to keep volume that would of been lost it makes no sense...This has been pushed by the sales dept..
Do you know how long It takes to, sort bag and tag surepost, The only reason they are bagged Is, to eliminate routes. Why arent the majority of the surepost packages in bags?
I wouldn't have to spend 15 minutes tossing and scanning, just like 5 minutes to scan a few bags.

Size of the package. and lack of time and resources,to bag them. No, I'm an off the street hire. Just been wondering about this. Why are some in bags and most not?
Has anyone taken the time explain the how/why Of sure post even exists ? Who benefits from it etc ? If someone does take the time to explain it quote me so I don't miss it.
Simple. FE started Smartpost and UPS copied it to try to keep up.
