Bankrupt huh? Number of permits issued by Trump administration in 2020.....2600. The number of drilling permits issued by the Biden administration in 2021.....3500. Just remember Bud, money talks and BS walks.
The BS is the permits.

An entire party in the United States is dedicated to the long-term destruction of the oil industry. You know this. You want to destroy the oil industry yourself. So why deny it?

Inordinately Right
Democrats literally campaign on destroying the fossil fuel industry, then try to completely gaslight the American public about that fact when gas prices are high.

Only the dumbest of Democrat voters fall for that crap.

Just stop for a second, turn your brain on, and nvm the bull:censored2: numbers that can be invented and inflated for any thing

Do you believe in your heart that oil drilling is doing better under a Biden presidency than a Trump one?

Bartering.
A practice that has lasted for centuries.
For example: I could trade my corvette for food? Who would do that? There won't be electricity.....not to mention gasoline. I guess you could sleep in it....

You still haven't answered how your gold is certified. Also how do you determine it's value?

Computers? Huh? Run with what? Where? So, a guy with a basket of corn and 3 apples will take bitcoin?

OMG........
Yes, or he will soon.

It's the only money that cannot be confiscated by a tyrant. It's portable and secure in a way that any other asset can only dream of.

A bad guy can take every thing you have. He only gets your btc if you give it to him.

At that time Kommie Harris becomes your Commander in Chief!

You think folks are going to be walking around in burned down cities carrying laptops and cell phones.....with no grid?

Really?

You're the one in denial. The numbers are accurate public information backed by oil industry forward looking guidance plainly stated in it's SEC filings and paints in clear detail an oil industry far more disciplined and no longer willing to tolerate a decades old pattern of boom and bust cycles. And an industry focus that will extend into many future presidential administrations and remain in place regardless of whatever energy policies those future administrations adopt.

Boom and bust cycles have been with oil for 150 years. Nobody cares.

What's new is a president declaring that he wishes to bankrupt them and close the industry forever.

Which one matters?

Also, answer this: Do you wish for the oil industry to disappear in the long run?

The industry itself will disappear on it's own as newer cleaner burning fuels that are not as vulnerable to geopolitical events come online. Crude oil is a GLOBAL market subject to global forces outside the ability of the US to influence them let alone control them. We've been fighting for security and control of foreign located sources of oil going all the way back to when we fought the Germans in World War II for Mideast oil. Haven't we shed enough blood and treasury for oil? Yes we are one of the world's leading producers of domestically recovered oil. But more people means more cars more electricity and more consumer goods made from oil.
As for your claim that nobody cares about the boom and bust cycle. Now you may not care because you don't have a dime in the game. But, the people who have skin in the game do care including me....A person who has positions in one oil company and two oil pipeline companies.

So your answer is yes, that you desire for the oil industry to ultimately go away, or that you believe it is inevitable and would pursue policy to hasten that.

That's all you need.

You don't fight the Fed. You don't invest in things that the White House vows to bankrupt. You don't loan to industries that all the papers and institutions and media and government hate.

This isn't hard. When the whole world regrets that your industry even exists....dont' pour money into it.
