You missed the creativity and humor of it all.
You probably also missed the Washington Post article where the reporter actually multiplied 2 inches( the average thickness of what he said a burger was) and 1,000 ( how many burgers Trump said he had) and said that it would fall way short of a mile. (Trump said all the burgers that was there if you could put them on top of each other it would be a mile high.)

Well, Trump says at 43 seconds into this video that there's 300 hamburgers. But then he said there were 1,000 in his remarks to the Clemson players and coaches.
OMG, now we're fact-checking how many burgers there really were....
