Greenland is a Danish territory that's barely habitable. Iceland is an independent country, member of the European Union, and pretty darn amazing. And very expensive.

Sadly, Greenland isn’t for sale.
Denmark is still holding a grudge from selling us the Virgin Islands, they feel they got ripped off!

Iceland is nice because it doesn’t have a large minority population. It’s basically all white.

It’s where my dad plans to retire.
I’ll probably end up there once a year or so to visit him. He even has an Iceland flag as a bumper sticker, he loves that country.
He'll need deep pockets to live there. But would be amazing if he can afford it.

He basically inherited the family company. The only reason he isn’t there now is when he retires a lot of people will lose their jobs most likely and he has a tight knit aging work force.
