People have the right to dispose of their products as they see fit.
People SHOULD also have the right to purchase seeds FROM THOSE WHO DO WISH TO SELL to be able to grow their own food.

I do agree that people have the right to do as please.

I do not agree that farmers who are subsidized by the Federal government should be paid to dump milk or bury their crops when there are people out there who could use them.

Trump’s video montage suggested that media figures were downplaying the risk while the president was taking action.

In reality, Trump was attending campaign rallies, playing golf and downplaying the risk himself in his public statements despite being warned by aides and experts about the urgent need for action.

The president declared on Jan. 22 that coronavirus was “totally under control,” on Feb. 10 predicted it’ll “go away in April” and on Feb. 26 said the number of cases “within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero.”

Actually, it is........there were some pretty nice cars in those lines and it was pitiful to see them in line with the less fortunate with their hands out...
This isn't new.
People have been abusing the system since FDR.
In High School, I loaded groceries in cars a lot nicer than we ever had, that was paid with food stamps.

I think the purpose of the video was to paint the kettle black, no?

Do you realize you are disseminating communist propaganda directly from the brutal authoritarian dictatorship responsible for the current pandemic?

WTF is wrong with you?

So the public has first rights to the product of anothers labor? How Socialistic of you!

Propping up the market for other farmers is the most cost effective way of sustaining the system. Perhaps you should offer to purchase their excess and ship it to some Third World country.

Nothing like putting your money where your mouth is.

Government intervention in the market is the most cost effective way of sustaining it? What happened to free markets?

I don't have a problem with farm subsidies----I was merely pointing out the irony of farmers burying crops and dumping milk while individuals were being denied the right to produce their own food.
