Why did you out Trump banned travel to the States for Chinese nationals on I believe it was January 30th? What else did you leave out? Can't trust you if you're going to leave out major things like the travel ban.
The ban did not apply to non Chinese. There was no mandatory quarantine for Americans returning from China, or Europe for that matter. The EU travel restrictions were so poorly handled that they may have been ground zero on the East coast.

Why are you so anxious to defend him?

I'm anxious to keep guys like you from spinning what happened to score cheap political points. 6 days after he banned travel from China for Chinese nationals the NY Times said there was no reason for the ban and it was safe to travel to China. China allowing millions to travel overseas during this period is THE major reason we have a worldwide pandemic.

That was an opinion piece by a global tourism reporter.

U.S. intelligence agencies issued warnings about the novel coronavirus in more than a dozen classified briefings prepared for President Trump in January and February, months during which he continued to play down the threat, according to current and former U.S. officials.
The frequency with which the coronavirus was mentioned in the PDB has not been previously reported, and U.S. officials said it reflected a level of attention comparable to periods when analysts have been tracking active terrorism threats, overseas conflicts or other rapidly developing security issues.

Sound familiar?
