Speaking of Darwinism, Covid-19 is evolution in action. Short-term, observable EVOLUTION of the virus, which has mutated substantially since it was first discovered. Fake News....not.
On another note, Dr. Bright is testifying now that the pandemic warnings were ignored and that the Trump administration expressed open hostility to said warnings. Must be Fake News, huh?
So, Space God doesn't "have this", Trump lied that he wasn't informed early (January), and the virus is proof of evolution. Yet, the ignorant still believe.
Oh, and how about "herd immunity", often touted by Trumpers who want to let the virus "run it's course". The problem is that we know of NOBODY (yet) who is immune to Covid-19, so the herd solution is ignorant. Setting aside the weak, old, and sick to die so the "immune" can thrive (kind of sounds like evolution, doesn't it?) cannot work unless someone is immune. That means that the entire herd could potentially die, and it would have all been for nothing.
This was the UK strategy until they saw the death projections and realized that there was no herd immunity for Covid. They rapidly shifted to lockdown and social distancing as a result.
Oh, and Sweden. High projected death tolls, and no herd immunity despite some of the Right Wing propaganda that the Swedes got it right. The infection rates and deaths just keep rising.
