The judge gave them a huge leeway to determine him guilty in his instructions to the jury. Actually told them they could think he was guilty.in one of several ways, not necessarily have to be just one. They could disagree. Just another reason this will be overturned.

Trump's accountants listed it as a legal expense. That was the entire crux of the case. Was it a legal expense or was it an illegal campaign contribution meant to influence the election? Bragg didn't even say which statute they were connecting the misdemeanor actions to in order to make them felonies until his closing argument. Gave the defense no chance to respond. Just another reason this will be overturned on appeal.
