And yet he was reviled. The Republicans made the mistake of putting up candidates that they felt could work with the Left. Romney would have been a great choice to fix the economy but he was smeared mercilessly by the Left. You would never know he was a successful Republican governor in an overwhelmingly Democrat state, known for working with Democrats to get things done. So we finally vote in a tough talker who was a Democrat in the past. Is a narcissist. I had my doubts about him but whether you like him or not he actually does something. Keeps his campaign promises. Uses the bully pulpit to get things moving. People talk about us being deranged about Hillary but it's rabid hatred of Trump that will turn Democrats out to put him out of office in 2020. He might survive if the economy is doing well, but Dems are so angry over losing to someone like him that it may set records for the Democrat vote. And then it'll be back to a do nothing Congress and more stagnation. Fun while it lasted!
