Is there a way to delete one of these threads? Not sure how it posted it twice.
I only said part time guys to call out! Not the drivers.
We should negotiate that every Prime Day is a paid holiday. This is our time to use our no show no call nationwide! Let’s show both sides of the table we’re not happy with this handshake agreement!
ALL PART TIME EMPLOYEES THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!!! CALL OUT , SCHEDULE A OFF,
WE AS TEAMSTERS COULD CAUSE ALOT OF BAD PUBLICITY FOR UPS!
Could we organize a nation wide “wild cat” sick out then?
25 yr veteran who doesn’t want this deal to go through is all I’m saying!
No to hybrids 22.4 is a bad option for the future of FT Drivers.
Damn I wanted a day off tooI only said part time guys to call out! Not the drivers.

Yup, wild cat strike is an automatic termination with no recourse. No grievance, no hearing, you're gone.Terrible idea.

They are part timers. No one will even notice they're gone.Yup, wild cat strike is an automatic termination with no recourse. No grievance, no hearing, you're gone.
Makes it even easier right? They are part timers. No one will even notice their gone.

I'm not supporting any unauthorized work stoppages @Jones, but you don't really believe that there will be....Yup, wild cat strike is an automatic termination with no recourse. No grievance, no hearing, you're gone. X
There was no hearing and no arbitration. Hall came down and begged for their jobs back. The company agreed on the condition that the steward who instigated the wild cat strike be banned from UPS property but they were under no obligation to do so. Those drivers are very lucky.I'm not supporting any unauthorized work stoppages @Jones, but you don't really believe that there will be....
"no grievance, no hearing, you're gone"
....do you???
That's just not true.
We have 250 drivers in NYC that can verify what I am saying.
I thought the city of New York had something to do with it? Didn't they say they would ban Ups from operating there if they didn't reinstate the drivers? There was no hearing and no arbitration. hall came down and begged for their jobs back. I am getting paid 15 right now and my socialist cabal is currently demanding $18 in 2018.LET'S SEE
PART TIMERS CRY ABOUT BEING UNDERPAID
CONTRACT INCREASES PT PAY TO $13
NOW PART TIME GUY WANTS A WILDCAT WALKOUT
Hmm, didn't hear that but it's possible?I thought the city of New York had something to do with it? Didn't they say they would ban Ups from operating there if they didn't reinstate the drivers?
It was actually a BA in NYC, not a Steward, but that's neither here nor there. There was no hearing and no arbitration. hall came down and begged for their jobs back. Bottom line is that any discharge can be grieved and the grievance will be heard, no exceptions.
The picture you painted, simply doesn't exist.
I just remember seeing an article about it and I thought that's what happened, could be wrong though. It's awesome though if that is what happened. A major city putting Ups in it's place!Hmm, didn't hear that but it's possible?
