Honestly , I heard one of them had a bad back and that no cars were reported missing in the area . So logic states that either they learned how to fly or they got washed away .

They must be getting a lot of help from friends on the outside. Then again if they found some fancy "summer cabin" to break into like we have around here they could live in that for a LONG time. A lot of those places have things stocked up to last for months including firearms.

nowhere special
They would have to be a heck of a lot dumber than one would expect to remain camping near the prison. They are almost certainly out of that area now.

I had a cabin in a sparsely populated area that was used by weekenders. Only about 10% lived in the area full time. Had it broken into 3 times. Finally ended up leaving it unlocked, and nobody bothered it. It would be easy to hole up in a desolate cabin and not be seen, especially since they don't have a car to alert people they are there.

Some of the "cabins" around here on the lakes are million dollar homes that are used only a week or two a summer by the uber rich. Some of them have more tied up in their "storage shed" than most people do in their whole house. Some of the boat houses would be easy to live in. The boat houses would be the best bet---they are all stocked with treats and drinks.

Things are much quieter today. The roadblocks are gone. Joyce Mitchell's husband gave a statement to the police today which did not paint her in a very good light.

Thus far they have spent $1M/day on this search effort.

Two new developments overnight. First, a CO (guard) has been placed on administrative leave as a result of the investigation in to the escape. No further details have been released. Second, there have been reports of possible sightings near the NY/PA border.

Reported last night and nothing new from this source.

If they had connections with neo-Nazi or white supremacist groups in prison, NW PA has a number of strongholds.

The focus of the search has changed once again. They are searching in an area near Owls Head/ Mountainview, which is about 7 miles or so south of Malone (NY), after a confirmed sighting in a seasonal camp.

The name of the CO being questioned has been released but no charges have been filed (yet).
