I'm not sure why you're under the assumption we live in the same place.... Republicans here don't want to fund a properly run city.

They just bitch and moan and approve tax cuts and breaks for business that pay poverty wages, all the while cutting earned pensions for city workers.

I'm in the South, Republicans are like a freaking caricature down here.
