North Carolina Police Chief Forced Out For Calling Black Lives Matter A ‘Terrorist Group’
Surf City, N.C., Police Chief Mike Halstead was forced to retire after writing a Facebook post that called the Black Lives Matter movement an “American born terrorist group,” WECT News 6 reports.
In the lengthy Facebook to his personal account on Sept. 3, Halstead wrote that Michael Brown was a “thug,” and that there is a double standard for white and black Americans.
“The Government and blacks would not tolerate the White Supremacist group to march through the streets and call for the murders of a race of people and a group of public servants,” Halstead wrote.
Chief Halstead insisted that President Obama, Al Shapton, Jessi Jackson, Eric Holder and the “ignorant S.O.B.” Louis Farrakhan should be “charged with solicitation for murder.”
Surf City Mayor Zander Guy called the emergency meeting to discuss Halstead’s post he made to his personal Facebook page on Sept. 3, according to WECT.
Town Manager Tom Bergman told Halstead “that as public employees we are often held to higher level of scrutiny and that even if it is a personal social media account and despite not associating himself directly to the Town in his posting, that some will draw the connection.”

It seems evident that there are separate 'rules' for separate populations.
Women vs. Men.
Blacks vs. Whites.
The working poor vs. anyone else.
Middle class vs. the 'rich'.
Heterosexuals vs. Homosexuals.
Christians vs. (other religion).
Etc.
In all of these cases, not everyone receives equal treatment, or doesn't have similar/equal access to the others, or doesn't receive equal due process under the law, or doesn't get paid the same for equal work, or...
The northwoods sounds nice.

Someone had posted “White Only” and “Black Only” signs near several bathrooms and water fountains in Clemens Hall.
“It brought up feelings of the past of a past that our generation has never seen which I think is why it was so shocking for us to see,” Micah Oliver, president for the Black Student Union, tells ABC 27.
More than 100 students turned out to a Black Student Union meeting to discuss the signs.
“There was fear expressed, anger, disappointment – all of that,” according to Oliver.
And then, Ashley Powell, a black graduate student, stood up in the meeting to admit she had hung the signs, claiming it was part of an “art project,” The Buffalo News reports.
Students were reportedly “outraged” and “walked out” of the meeting. Other students denounced Powell’s project as “racist” and “an act of terrorism.”
According to the News, “the project was for a 400-level art class titled ‘Instillation: Urban Space.’ Powell said the goal of the signs and project was to see what people’s reactions would be to them.”
