And when you get old?

I have a long term care insurance policy to make sure that my daily needs are met. I also have a health care proxy in place, including my wishes for end of life care (DNR). My final arrangements (bake and shake) are already bought and paid for. The last thing I want is for my kids to have to worry about any of that stuff.

Like it or not health care is a business and it just does not make economic sense to spend $$$ on someone who is expected to die within the next 3-6 months.

So, you are ok with your insurance spending money to keep you alive if you are found to be terminal.
