For as much as they blab about safety management doesn't put a lot of thought into what is safe and what isn't safe. Our station sent out a 65+yr old courier with five 130lb packages in wooden crates in a small SUV rental. That doesn't seem safe to transport at all in that kind of vehicle, not to mention having to deal with packages that weigh that much by yourself (and no dolly).
