seniority bid list

have any frgt terminals been told they will not be 1 seniority list, but 3 "quote" per the grievance panel in new orleans??????

actually we had our most senior guy hesitating to come to the dock because of the 3 list rumor. It was cleared up last week. that there is one. What type of problems are you having?

the list is to long for what problems we're having. was just curious is if anyone else was hearing about a 3 list bid ie. pu&d, dock cdl and dock, oh and somewhere in there would be jockey. still waiting to here from our union rep, but i don't think they can change it, contract states 1 seniority bid list. thnx for your responses

our jockeys and dock leadmen (only fulltime dockworkers there) are grouped in with cartage.....part time casual dockworkers have there own seniority list

yea city drivers, full time dock workers and yard jockeys are all on 1 list, local cartage

not at our term we were made to take off last Friday , good Friday a lot of business were closed with no pay we were told by manger there would be no use to grieve that no one was guaranteed a 40 hour week it had been ruled on and we lost

Grow some balls, just becuase your TM says somthing does not make it true. If your in the top 90% and you did not work on good friday file, you will be paid, and remember any hours worked over 10 do not count towards your guaranteed 40.
