Because an hourly has to come to work on time and follow hundreds of methods, and most PTs can't do thatHow is a at will employee with no contractual protection 1000x harder to terminate?
I've seen plenty of PT sups fired. Granted for doing something stupid but they don't return after like most PT union employees.
Its a huge hassle to fire a manager, unless he does something illegal. Demoted is much more likely, but termination is super rare without something illegal taking place
