Lead, can you point out any post that any reformer has posted whereas you agree, or do you just argue for the sake of protecting your antiquated leaders who you so desperately seek their approval?
I don't know what your thinking about lead.....if we aren't going to fight and possibly strike over the sock issue......why do we pay union dues......I agree with Irish let's put the raises and benefits negotiating on the side and focus on this sock issue

How about you, wanna pretend the other half wasn't mentioned? Can you afford to have your face smash into the windshield, then recoil the back of your head into the metal bulkhead, if you're involved in a serious accident in vehicle without a high back chair and 3 point seat belt?
I think we just got down to the real issues with this thread.I don't know what your thinking about lead.....if we aren't going to fight and possibly strike over the sock issue......why do we pay union dues......I agree with Irish let's put the raises and benefits negotiating on the side and focus on this sock issue

They claim that they can't retrofit high back chairs and 3 point seat belts, yet they can retrofit keyless ignition and telematics? Can you afford to have your face smash into the windshield, then recoil the back of your head into the metal bulkhead, if you're involved in a serious accident in vehicle without a high back chair and 3 point seat belt?
So, it's not a problem elsewhere then?We have no old p800 or anything like that we have about 20 of these that sit on the fence and are never used . I must be in the bubble of goodness View attachment 78221
Maybe they should negotiate work underwear to? No offense, but you sound like a maroon.Excellent point, since our Union can't negotiate paid for socks in the contract. You would think the least they could do, is to make sure they aren't from some non Union sweat shop in Bangladesh, lol!
Lead, answer the question? Is this most serious safety issue not a concern in other areas? So, it's not a problem elsewhere then?
Sounds familiar, "Welcome to TeamCare".
nuff said!In my limited experience of negotiating.
I agree with the seat belt issue they should be changed but the sock issue is a lot more funHow about you, wanna pretend the other half wasn't mentioned?
Do you want to drive one of these 30 year old death traps with your company issued penis sock on?
No I think safety is very important. We don't have trucks like that anymore. Kinda like you don't have the company insurance anymore.Ok, lead.....I guess you think safety equipment designed to keep your Teamster Brothers and Sisters safe, is b.s. also?
Why stop there work shoes and gloves also oh and don't forget tee shirts being they have to be brown or whiteMaybe they should negotiate work underwear to? No offense, but you sound like a maroon.
Well, I have bought used cars and was always able to negotiate a Christmas tree air freshner for my used car and the car dealership wasn't making billions of dollars in profit! Seems like a pretty good analogy if you ask me.nuff said!
