Management has always been difficult to get along with, but you’re right, somewhere around that time Not only were they hard to get along with. They also became complete, Idiots. And nothing more than paper pushers who cannot even make any decisions without getting approval.

Yep from the mid 80s they were difficult but we ran the tightest ship in the business(somewhat). Now it SEEMS…I just don’t know. You don’t pay extra for service you don’t get. Customers then divert… you are not special.

For the most part now lower management like on car’s and positions like that are just dumb kids. When I started at UPS it was grown ups in those positions. Was at a building a few weeks ago to pull a preload back to the building I work out of. The Fed was expired which is an inspection sticker. Can’t be pulled. Called dispatch told the person that answered and their response was “what’s a fed” you can’t make it up. You’re a dispatcher in feeders and you don’t know what a fed is. Hilarious.
