It's a workable alternative to correct that which you whine about.

Here's a suggestion. Look at the thread start time/dates it may help you avoid old post's, that's what I do.

I cant do that on my iphone. Or else I would. I see the name of the poster who originated the thread,and how much time has elapsed since the last post. There is no way for me to know it is a spam necropost until I have wasted a bunch of time waiting for it to load.
Yes, I know I should just suck it up and deal with it. And I will. But it might be worth considering that new members who run into this issue may choose not to come back.
