Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
How indeed. How does that happen? If we don't allow foreign ownership of our domestic airlines then how could we in the interest of national security allow that to happen at our ports?

The FMLA was passed for the benefit of all parents regardless of sexual orientation whether they are public or private sector employees. And the current transportation secretary is a public sector employee.Do you think the the transportation secretary would have gotten any media heat for taking two months off work in the middle of a crisis?
No no no, Pete and his husband are heroes for changing diapers while the American people suffer...
If China tries to take Taiwan by force we could end up with the biggest naval battle since WWII. Cheap consumer goods from China could be very hard to find if there are any at all. Instead of mindless consumption Americans might be doing themselves a favor if they learned to make goods last longer and more versatile as was the case during the Depression and WWII when many goods were rationed. No, Washington Post, we should not lower our expectations - Washington Examiner

With our supply chain currently slowed down and store shelves lacking products, a columnist for the Washington Post thinks we Americans need to lower our expectations. What say you?
Yes I'm familiar with FMLA little lady. The FMLA was passed for the benefit of all parents regardless of sexual orientation whether they are public or private sector employees. And the current transportation secretary is a public sector employee.
There is this thing called the Assistant Secretary of Transportation. Your comments prove conclusively that what's really grinding your grits is that the secretary is gay and a Democrat. If the secretary was straight and a Republican we wouldn't have heard a peep out of you. BTW 40 House and 8 Republican Senators voted in favor of the legislation while 2 GOP senators didn't have the spine to vote at all.Yes I'm familiar with FMLA little lady.
He isn't a Walmart employee who needs time off because she just pushed a human being through her vagina.
He's the Secretary of Transportation of the United States of America. He shouldn't be taking 2 months off during a transportation crisis to play house with his husband.
He didn't even appoint an interim replacement. Let's just eliminate the entire position since you people don't think he should have to do his damn job.
Turns out Trump forced COSCO out of Long Beach. Lease was turned over to an American consortium in 2019 for $1.78 billion. How indeed.
If he was straight and a Republican we wouldn't have this issue. There is this thing called the Assistant Secretary of Transportation. His masters told him to be mad, so he’s “mad.”There is this thing called the Assistant Secretary of Transportation. Your comments prove that you know he shouldn't have taken time off during a crisis, and the only way you can defend him is this fake narrative that anyone cares he is gay.Your comments prove conclusively that what's really grinding your grits is that the secretary is gay and a Democrat.
Lol. You’ve described American companies that are dead set against rising wages. Why pay what it costs to meet commitments when people will, do and have lowered expectations? The labor shortage isn't caused by lack of personal. If you're getting the milk for free, why work to buy the cow?
Laying on your ass, eating Cheetos, looking at a big screen, waiting on another Biden check seems to kill the motivation factor. He looks at the guy working and laughs.
Lower expectations? It's no expectations.
Please take me socialist commies! Baby, I'm yours!

Passed in March 2021 by Democrats to give an extra $300 a week in unemployment, signed by Let's Go Brandon.Lol. You’ve described American companies that are dead set against rising wages. Why pay what it costs to meet commitments when people will, do and have lowered expectations?
And by the way, what president signed into law the bill that paid people to stay home?
And the $600 per week last year?Passed in March 2021 by Democrats to give an extra $300 a week in unemployment, signed by Let's Go Brandon.
They still have the port of LATurns out Trump forced COSCO out of Long Beach. Lease was turned over to an American consortium in 2019 for $1.78 billion.
And you call yourself a "Christian"? LOL. It's so called "Christians" like you is why pews are empty, buildings are closing while Dioceses and Conferences are downsizing. And BTW do you ever hear of a little word called "discrimination"? I will commend you for admitting the fact that you areIf he was straight and a Republican we wouldn't have this issue.
I like this response. This is good sound information. The company Taiwan Semiconductor is the biggest among many of the spoils of war China is clearly after. Reports out last week showed that for the first time ever Japanese fighter planes landed on U.S. aircraft carriers as well as U.S. air tankers refueling UK aircraft. All of which took place in the Philippine Sea. In addition there is an accelerated effort being undertaken to bring back to the U.S. as many of those semiconductor foundries as quickly as possible. Not just cheap consumer goods. The whole world will be megaed if TSMC's semiconductor plants are seized (after Chinese military forces have taken hundreds or thousands of casualties) or destroyed by the Chinese. Anything with a chip in it will become difficult to find. Cars, appliances, computers, etc etc.
I think the US and its allies will have to either defend Taiwan with everything they've got or not defend it at all.
2 charts show how much the world depends on Taiwan for semiconductors
Taiwan's outsized role in chipmaking has come under the spotlight as a global shortage of semiconductors forced several automakers to halt production.www.cnbc.com
"Taiwan dominates the foundry market, or the outsourcing of semiconductor manufacturing. Its contract manufacturers together accounted for more than 60% of total global foundry revenue last year, according to data by Taipei-based research firm TrendForce."
