You are right. I am in the Central States. UPS has not been forthright in paying the required benefits in the Central States. We have to grieve to get them. If I die; my wife knows she is entitled to a Teamcare benefit as well as UPS making up the difference. If Tom's family has no idea what he was entitled to; UPS may not pay their portion if the benefits is similar to Central States.
