We have a few air drivers everyday that take air from the building to the airport when the cans fill up. We have had two major incidents. First was an air driver left with out closing the back doors and 110 NDA spilled out onto the highway. A few PT supes had to play frogger that day.
The 2nd incident was when a air driver entered the airport to go to the loading area for the UPS plane. He for some reason thought it was ok to drive straight down the run way of a major international airport to get there. Let's just say the FAA didn't think it was ok.
Both still work for UPS but they are career part timers and no one even dares let them behind the wheel anymore.

A few months back, on a preload boxline slide, someone was loading a hazmat package of fire extinguisher(s) and, well, they forgot hand-to-surface.
The thing busted open and started spraying everywhere and everyone. People were evacuating down the slide. It shut down the boxline, needless to say.

We have a union steward that does that but has filed grievances over people being in their cars. I find it very comical.

The guy who holds our hubs record for misloads become a PT Sup. He's still employed with UPS but no longer at my hub.

This was "way back in the day." This guy brought a bag of pot in and forgot he had it on him. He took it out of his pocket at the guard shack. Typically when this happens, the guards confiscate it and take a photo of the employee's ID for security to follow up on later. This guard snatched it, put it in his pocket, and pretended like it never happened.
