In my local it apparently does. It also ceases to exist when people call-in. To think contacting someone from another shift is too hard and inconvenient for the company...and my local allows it. Disgusting.

I had one supervisor shuttle a misloaded air out to me and then later on my center manager brings me a LIB air. Plan on filing grievances on both of them tomorrow. Should be good for two hours at OT rate.

Never worked for me with reefer ... I had to concentrate as a driver (Swing driver).

A lot of it does. Or rather that lots of rules and provisions are waved during peak. Supervisors do indeed perform union work during peak. All hands on deck.

If any hourly employees are laid off and supervisors are doing work...you have a winnable grievance no matter what time of year.
