Tax the :censored2:in tips too. It’s income. No tax on SS, I paid the tax up front already.
What I think is reasonable is, no tax up to the amount you contributed. That is you personally, not the amount your employer(s) matched. That makes sense since you are only pulling out you own previously taxed dollars.

Waiters and waitresses deserve tips, all the rest of these people asking for a tip for everything is out of control!
We’re actually subsidizing the establishment to get the servers to the minimum wage and above.
I’m sure you know how that works.

Why exactly do they deserve tips? To keep them from spitting in your food the next time you’re in?😂

Probably mostly because it’s customary and something we’ve always done. And nowadays actually getting good service at a restaurant makes me want to tip because it’s not a common thing to happen anymore.

And also not to spit on my food!

Let's not get carried away here. Drivers make some serious cash in Christmas tips. No spitting, but good reliable service for customers that tip! Although, technically it's a gift, not a tip for IRS to get their paws on.

Thanks the rub.
I was an air cover driver.
So I was never on one route for a whole year, just a few days or weeks at a time.
My customer season of when I deliver their packages or if somebody that's covered my route to delivers their packages.

I'm old school i go the extra miles sometimes

Unfortunately, the company does not care about service anymore. And it's getting instilled to the newbies
