Dear red705 thank you so much for getting back to me within a timely manner, just as timely as the other business agents of the current administration. While you were at cach with non truth telling paid for hire scum I hope that you didn't catch anything. Thank you so much for what you and your current administration has done for part-timers hired after August 1, 2008
When one of our newly union brothers or sisters start employment the first thing in which takes place is automatic union withdraw, extra money for your daddy and his wife, secretary treasurer and the president. In return our members are without health care coverage. Because you and the people that you worship have allowed this rape to occur for thousands of members for years to come. Its a shame that after thousands of members located in multiple hubs get raped they can't even see a doctor for one year just for rape alone. Our members are not able to get their eyes checked, get there teeth cleaned or fixed. For God sakes our members aren't even covered to go to the emergency room if anything happens to them. Great job red705!
There are so many other medical needs that our members and their families are in major need but why list all the functions of health care that you and your daddy and his wife casted out like demons. If our new members become disabled outside of work there is no coverage for that as we'll. Our new members don't even get paid for one holiday their first year of employment. How could you and your Daddy and his wife do this to thousands of new members for years to come? But what I find to be so odd is that your daddies wife the fat belly president joe bakes didn't even take part on the negotiating committee for the current contract. If you go to page 175 of the contract or the good book, his name is not present. So red705 how can your mom stand before members once a month at the union meetings and discuss topics that she was not present for. I would guess that your mom was busy in the drive thru getting a foot long. But let me get back to you red705. In the future if you wish to respond to me that is fine but don't inform me of your where abouts. I know exactly where you are and where you will continue to be. At the meeting on sunday you will more than likely be in the first stall of the bathroom at your daddies house drinking a tasty beverage while our new members are waiting for their insurance and holiday pay to kick in. Did you forget to mention that a part timer would have to wait 36 months from attaining seniority to wait for family, vision and dental coverage?

We elected Steve so that UPS employees would negotiate our own contracts, without freight involvement, and now you cry about it. What does a freight driver know about our jobs? Should we as ups employees negotiate their contract?

This contract is far from perfect, but we gained more positive language this time than the last several combined. And in case you forgot, the membership voted over 80% in approval for it. If it would have been voted down than we would have been sent back to the table.

Maybe you should research a little instead of believing everything that you are told.

The current administration has nothing to do with part-timers and they never will. Your statement should reflect what the current pathetic leaders of the local are doing to majority of the members.

I did not need Cach to come to my defense, but he did. And probably so because he was aware that the last two weeks I have devoted my vacation time to campaign for my local election.


And yes I am voting for the Steve Pocztowski Slate. The Teamsters friendor Coal Miner Slate, is made up of former agents that have been voted out or just plain out fired for not representing the members. And these people have lost two straight elections and have no real reason to run which costs this local $100,000 every 3 years of our dues money.

After the 2003 election was covered under a Coal miners contract which was ratified by the out going admin after the ballots where counted and they new they lost. In doing so they attempted to hand cuss Steve going in, Steve fired everyone that was not holding there own. One individual received a buyout of vacation time he said he had coming. For over $20,000, how many UPSERS do you know that receive that much vacation time?

Another agent that wants to get back in had us paying her $900 a month cell phone bills from our dues money, $900 a month!

They bankrupted this local and the members have spoken twice already, this is the strike out pitch election!

I personally threw away my ballot now one on it I'm interested in. I am a full time 22.3 air driver combo. We continue to be screwed over time after time by every administration and it's getting worse. Rumor is all 22.3 air drivers will be "laid off" after peak. What that means is loading or sorting full time for our crappy air driver pay, not inside/inside pay or even full time loader/unloader pay, but air driver pay. So basicly UPS can get away with murder and say we dont have to pay these guys anything to do the same job other people are getting paid higher to do. I assure you if steve and 705 doesnt do something about that promptly I wont buy a ticket to his darn picnic. I find it funny that the company found a loop hole in the contract that allows a lay off that still allows them to pay the "laid off" person a low crappy wage while someone doing the same job next to them is making good money. Btw I put lay off in quote becuase we all know damn well the company is just exploiting the loop hole.

If you did I can assure you that it is going through the arbitration process. The union can only force the company to meet on grievances, the union cannot force the company to agree its a violation. That's what an arbitrator is for.

If you cannot see that UPS is attempting to upset the members before this election, than you have not been paying much attention.

So you would rather not vote for the people that take these grievances through the arbitration process on behalf of you the member, and take a chance on the guys that traded away grievances like baseball cards get elected. I don't see it.

But hey, maybe you will win some of your grievances and again maybe you will be the one that gets traded away! At least now you know this local will back you and your grievance.Remember how it was just a short 6 years ago? Just sit back and remember how bad we had it. And then call the number and request another ballot.

As you know I am a steward, and I to get frustrated with the whole grievance system, but in the long run we do win them. Ask some of the people on here that cant win a grievance in their local if hey would like to be part of 705.

I don`t know how its worked in yours and Illianas bldg but the 22.3 here were never at a disadvantage. When we (feeder) had guys with 15 years of full time in laid off into the hub and having 5 - 8 dollars taken off the top of their hourly wage the 22.3 shifters were in the yard driving (sometimes pulling a double). They couldn`t be laid off,couldn`t be bumped. Drivers left the company,lost their houses,broke their marriages. So you may not find a lot of sympathy from them.

The flyers (fliers) were produced and distributed without my knowledge and which I now disavow. The flyers (fliers) were produced and distributed by the steve (Steve) poctowski (Pocztowski) candidates, juan (Juan) campos (Campos) and walter (Walter) kobylanski (Kobylanski), as well as steve (Steve) poctowski (Pocztowski) supporters. These flyers have no place in the 705 election nor in the labor movement in general.

The election judge ruled that we (the slate) were guilty of some of what you said. The election judge was also referred by the JC and ruled against us in every charge last election. The judge wrote that and if you remember I was teh one that removed from from the windshield of 700 cars at Palatine, while you ladies cried and yelled at me from a distance. That judge has been removed and is no longer conducting elections. We have a new judge and have not been charged with any election violations.

We are the only slate that has used union printers for all of our campaign materials, jackets, T shirts, leaflets. pens, stickers, even our bill board was done by union members.

I would be very very careful accusing anyone of being a racist. I noticed you can hide behind your computer and spew lies, but you did not have the stones to address these issues with me today at the meeting.

Do you see the irony in when they fire you for stealing time you`re going to need representation from the very group you`re trying to defeat? His slate (Steve P)? Name any slate or Teamster leadership that didn`t sell PT`s short at one point and time. I have sympathy for the PT`s having been one once but its hard to build a strong contract for a group that statistically doesn`t even vote on it and has a (at our bldg)60% turnover and therefore would not be eligible for benefits from said contract.
