Hello, I know an hourly who was terminated on the spot after threatening somebody after being sexually harassed by another hourly. A hearing date is set, is there any chance that the hourly who was sexually harassed will get their job back?

Must’ve threatened violence if it was an instant termination. My guess is they will not get their job back. And if there is witnesses to the sexual harassment, the other person may also get fired. There are proper channels and procedures to follow for harassment and sexual harassment in the workplace. Taking it upon yourself is dangerous.

Deranged lunatic
Fully unacceptable. If somebody like the BA can get ahold of both union members involved and slap some sense into the sexual harasser then they can easily deny the evidence needed by management to uphold the termination and have both back to work but that operates on the assumption that they are smart enough to noy fk with other teamsters understand that their job is at risk too if they don't cooperate.

Also. Rumors really can be rumors. Always expect managers to say an apple is an orange in every sentence.
Words spoken directly by your coworkers are much more believable.

And now a Wallation™,

I was walked off the premises, terminated, after I got into a fight, made some threating remarks. What are the chances of me getting my job back after my hearing?

I've noticed that anytime someone gets fired for threats they seem to have an over exaggerated story of why they thought it was OK to threaten someone.

UPS has changed. They don't tolerate this stuff anymore.

The other person was a seasonal and it was their last day and the person who got sexually harassed said something to the point of "I'm thinking about hurting you," to stop the sexual harassment from happening.

Eat. Sleep. Work. Jork.
We need pictures to see if sexual harassment was justified.

Chances are slim and none, and Slim left town.
