Texas Pays A Visit To SCOTUS.

You want the court to throw out an election because your side lost. I can’t imagine a world where the Robert’s court does that.
If the other side violated the Constitution in order to win then yes we want the court to protect the integrity of our elections. If everything was done properly you've got nothing to worry about.

It will be fine

Counting votes and awarding the person that received the most votes the job doesn’t violate the constitution. I can see how Republicans are confused by that scenario.

Simply stated there is no basis in truth for Paxton's factual claims and no basis in law for his legal theories. Paxton is probably just angling for a personal pardon.

Changing the rules by anyone other than the state legislature is violating the Constitution. I can see how the Democrats are confused by that scenario.

Typical Democratic playbook, attack the messenger. Up to the Court to decide if the case has merit. If everything is ok then no worries for you.

Paxton hasn't got a leg to stand on. He'll be lucky if the court just declines without comment.
You are wrong.
By law when states sue each other the SCOTUS is required to hear and make a ruling on the lawsuit.
They do not have the luxury of refusing.
Constitutional Law is at stake here.
Should they decide that non authorized persons can alter, change, or rewrite Elections Laws, then every other Constitutional Law runs the risk of being overturned.
Once that happens, The United States of America will no longer exist.

Interesting you would post something like this the day after Hunter is forced to admit he is under investigation by the DOJ for his part in the great Biden family crime spree.

are you libs really this oblivious?
Both things can be true at the same time.

I'd rather have a president that sells maga hats than one that sells our country to china. between using illegal votes to steal an election and the bidens selling us out your side is really in a bad position to comment on anything trump does.

None of which is true, but don't let that stop you.

By the way, even Andrew C. McCarthy, from the National Review, called the Texas lawsuit frivolous.

Texas attorney general Ken Paxton invokes the original jurisdiction of the United States Supreme Court to hear disputes between states. Yet the brief is not signed by the lawyer who typically represents Texas before that nation’s highest court (as Solicitor General Hawkins did, for example, in the recent Obamacare case).
Plainly, this is because the complaint Paxton has filed is a political document that has no prospect of being taken seriously as a set of legal claims.

Tell that to the 17 other states who signed amicus briefs
Missouri, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah and West Virginia.
