I worked in the forest fire prevention / fighting part of the DNR around here for 3 or 4 years after I retired. You can't imagine how many "controlled burns" we had that got out of control for awhile.

First , it's the lack of Forest management . There's a procedure that if followed can greatly help in preventing or at least controlling fire's . Picking up dead timber , also clearing out lanes of trees and creating open fields to limit fire's from getting out of control also making fire stations with water tanks and airplanes in high risk area's . California does none of that because they spend money on high speed trains that never get finished and never will !!!!

This kind of forest management works but the other night Donald was talking about all the pine needles and stuff that needs to be picked up apparently. Donald needs a refresher coarse on forest management. Other than that I thought he won the kindergarten fight that was presented as a debate.
