seems like this could be an opportunity for a fresh face with some fresh dialogue. that persons not on the radar yet but anything is possible. the biggest issue may be that your party does not have anyone strong enough to suppress the crazies.

It's looking like the Democrats won't excise the leftist religion from the party until it's clear that they need to. I want them to keep underperforming/losing until they will. Won't happen if we get a self-imposed economic downturn and the blue haired return to power.
