NC may very well pick up a senate seat in 26. Thom Tillis will be running again and has become very disliked. Roy Cooper (the former governor) is likely to be the Democrat challenger. He was a popular governor and I think would defeat Tillis.

Apparently he's declared again. He's not too popular but no one is seeming to present much of a primary challenge either. The hopes are is that Lara Trump will decide to run against him but that's not seeming to look like it's going to happen.

Democrats will continue to underperform in swing districts for as long as Democratic Party leadership keeps believing they've just had a communication to voters problem rather than a leftist insanity problem.

The current Dem elite coastal party seems to have left many who thought they were Democrats, either these stranded voters will pull the party back or switch allegiance. We shall see.
