The Border Crisis: Is Allowing Illegals To Flood In A Good Thing?

Funny you would mention that. I recently had a conversation with a contractor friend of mine about immigration and he said the same thing. Thing is, he was a legal immigrant, now US citizen, of Venezuela and he can’t even find workers despite an influx of illegals to my area. He said they don’t want to work. Lol. Somebody’s lying somewhere.
It’s all about conservation of labor/energy/$. If dollar is strong it forces more immigration. We cannot have it both ways.

Or they just want the free stuff our government is giving them.
What free stuff?
I’ve never asked him how much he pays his workers.
That should be the first thing you ask when someone says they can’t find workers
I know he’s having to bring a guy from 2 hours away to do work for him and set him up with somewhere to stay.
So it sounds like he’s not paying enough for the area the workers live in

If dollar is strong it forces more immigration? How so?
Our economy is so strong with wars, under table $ and world reserve status smaller economies have (Almost) no chance to keep up $ to $(their $). We can print and float. They do it they get this….As a man you see no hope. As a man you look for a now solution. We have to fix it.

When has that been different relative to the developing world? And we had the border under control before Biden. Sure, some got in. But we didn't just throw the doors wide open. No matter how well we're doing we aren't going to have hundreds of thousands showing up every month unless our administration is waving them in. Even going to Central America and picking them up and flying them in. Biden turned our border into a farce.

With all the state's increasing their min. wage amounts, where are all these low paying jobs that the border jumpers are looking for ?
Don't say construction jobs since the younger generations had turned to renting instead of house buying.

Starting in 2019 we diluted $ supply by 80%. Think vacuum dollar 💵. It doesn’t care if it picks up lint, pennies, poop. It just vacuums. It’s not smart. We scream at it but its a machine.
