I hope they do something about part timers. Our building has a terrible turnover with kids. They better start paying them better or they will never stick around. You can make more working at fast food joint working during the daylight.

I'm off the street as well. I've paid plenty of dues, don't judge someone so hastily as where they spent 5-10 years of their life earning a living. There are plenty of harder jobs(physically), trust me.

That's what I'm afraid of... retiring late then croaking a year later... live your life
Seen it happen way too often, these are just off the top of my head:
Retired at 60, died of a massive heart attack one year later - great guy, taught me a lot about investing.
59 years old died of stomach cancer, one year from retirement- good dude
28 years of service died of pancreatic cancer, really good guy didn't smoke or drink

Get the hell out of this place as soon as you can because you just don't know how long you got.
