Angie Craig Minn. didn't vote as she supposedly broke her ankle Monday, had surgery Tuesday and was stuck at the airport Wednesday.

The difference is those three weren’t on national tv and social media blasting out their opinions as loudly as Boebert.
Plus the party whips knew the vote counts so those three didn’t swing anything.

I don't trust either side. These last years has opened my eyes back to what I saw 44 years ago when I was 16. I said then " Voting makes powerless people feel powerful and keeps them content" I am just now seeing how true that statement was and is. Boy did people jump on me for saying that back then, and even now. It's hard to accept you have been screwed over and are powerless to do anything. We like to think "We will get them next time at the ballot box." The politicians also like you to think that. It's Good for business.
Since I don't like either side and both sides seems to have a problem with Trump then that gives me 1 person I can root for.

Our leaders are not elected they’re selected. You get two choices that’s it, everything else is locked out.
They still need our vote and it does matter. Roe was overturned. Wouldn't have happened if Trump hadn't been voted in. Ideally we go about our lives with little thought given to government. But the policies of the current administration hit families hard in the pocketbook. You can choose to participate to remove his administration, choose not to and hope enough other people do vote him out, or throw up your hands and say it's all rigged so why bother. Or vote for the current administration and be happy with what they're doing. They don't put on a dog and pony show every two years. In order to get at all that money in Washington they have to convince you they will do enough for you to get your vote. Whether you think so or not your vote does very much matter to them. So it does have value and you should spend it wisely.
