First off, I agree with you about Rush- I have no use for him either. I've listened to him about a total of 90 seconds in my lifetime. I don't watch Fox news either- I have a total of about 2 minutes watching that.
My question is: why in the world do you listen to, daily, someone who you despise and do not agree with, and then go home nightly and watch a program that affects you the same way?
I'm sorry, that's just dumb.
Do you watch porn as well just to make sure that you don't agree with it?
Do you poke yourself with sharp instruments to make sure it still hurts?
I respect your views, even though I don't agree with them, but I don't understand your logic.
So, why do you watch porn? In fact, we should set up a poll about why we all watch porn. What are the possible reasons?

Listening to Rush and watching Fox is the good liberal way of sleeping with their enemy.

Well the answer is simple my friend. When I speak to people, its clear what sources they use when they speak. When I listen to RUSH in the am, I do so to see what distortions he talks about and how he "phrases" verbage and syntax. I listen carefully to stucture and placement of words, and when an opportunity arises where I engage in a conversation with someone and I "Hear" the exact syntax or read the exact syntax as RUSH used, I can tell where the source of the information came from.
Example: You can tell a person who listens to RUSH simply by detecting the same mischaracterizations that he uses. IE: Sandra Fluke saying she wants to get paid for recreational sex. AV8 repeated this many times on this board, and the only source of this information was RUSH. NO OTHER personality was stating such. Sandra Fluke made NO MENTION OF HER having sex in her testimony, so the only stretch of the truth there was from RUSH and his devoted listeners merely repeat the bad claim as fact.
You can tell a person who watches Orielly, or Hannity... each has there own style of distortions. When they misrepresent something, its always big and so far away from the truth, it cant be traced back to anyone but them.
As I read stuff on this board, its very clear where the sources of info comes from..
I on the other hand cannot be traced to anyones direct talking points. I create my own thoughts and ideas and post them here when they are allowed.

Interesting that you use the term "messiah". Who coined that? Rush, the rotund one who commands you. The only time I watch Fox is when I'm eating lunch in a restaurant where it's playing, or if a customer has it on. I listen to Limbaugh in 4 or 5 minute snippets while I'm delivering. I can only stomach him for a few of these sessions anyway. Over here on the Left, we are actually smart enough to do our own thinking. We don't need a fat, drug-addicted college dropout telling us what we should think.
Exactly right. The term MESSIAH was coined by Limbaugh and repeated here by many posters. Hannity tries to mimmick Limbaugh and steals his material once in a while, but for the most part, its the coined terms that are repeated here the most.
Just like how RUSH calls the presidents administration "THE REGIME"....
Now go back and see how many posters here use that term... its laughable.

Here's the truth, which seems to finally be sinking-in for you Tea Party types. There in nobody on your side who stands a chance of beating Obama in November. If you say it often enough, the Tea Party trailer trash that never made it through high school will embrace it and believe with all of their might that it's "true". You're just repeating everything that the talking heads on the Right have said. The Plan is working perfectly.
