PALIN has a 87% unfavorable rating with the GOP voters. You know full well its a movie so dont play naive. Your attempts to comment but not sell the movie are kinda wierd, but Ill take it for what its worth.
The movie is about the campaign for the presidency and the candidates involved. If you think PALIN will be shown in a bad light, well, YOUR RIGHT! (for a change)

Palin is a very public figure who has held public office, ran for Vice-President, and frequently makes equally public commentary on FOX. Idiot that she is, she still talks about entering the GOP race, even though the deadline has passed to do so. God forbid, she's also a possible VP candidate again. To make a comparison between Palin and Fluke is like comparing apples with aliens from outer space. Typical Republican logic at work, and the spin machine is working OT to make it seem that Palin has somehow been "wronged".

Yup, a fiscal conservative from Calgary, Alberta.
He makes sure we pay down the debts we own.
Compared to the average American, we don't have a problem paying more taxes for healthcare or pension plans.
It's better than adding more national debt, or letting pensions run out of funds.
Americans sure wouldn't like him, he's more of a Ron Paul kind of guy.

RUSH refers to his radio program as the "institute for conservative studies"... are you saying this isnt so? IF you call yourself a conservative and he calls himself a conservative, how you can be different than him?
He has a listening audience of conservative listeners near 1 million in this country, and yet , you want to sell us the concept that conservatives reject him??

i get one chanel on my radio, yeah, I need to update. I listen to him from 12 to 3. the rest of my hours that I work, and thats alot of them, its all libs from a dem town with 23 % unemployment and crime off the chart. That 3 hrs is my saving grace. Sorry he calls a duck a duck.

The only time I ever hear his voice is on clips played on the news.......same as Bill M., Jon Stewart, etc. I don't watch/listen to any of them.
Give people credit. We fill up at the pump and we don't like the prices and don't need a radio/TV lunatic to tell us the prices are high..........most people don't even care why.
When people go to the store and see gr. beef and the label reads 73/37 instead of 85/15.....Guess what? People can do the math and know that their money is buying less. The reason doesn't matter, people will blame the guy in charge.
The guy in charge actually signs on for this responsibility when he decides to run.

Thats the problem MORE. NOBODY on this site will OWN UP to listening to RUSH, yet, will post almost "WORD FOR WORD" what RUSH says on the radio each day on issues. There are at least three posters (who i cant name because its not allowed for me) who's only thoughts are PURE limbaughs thoughts and ideas.

YET, when RUSH says something controversial, everyone in the GOP runs away from him and calls him "irrelevant". Same on this board, the GOP faithful are calling him irrelevant making suggestions that nobody listens to him.
Please, he is the GOP party spokesman directly. His thoughts are the party's thoughts, those party's thoughts then become the faithfuls thoughts. Its the way its sold to its followers. MESSAGING, MESSAGING, MESSAGING. The constant repetition of mis information becomes the truth on the RUSH radio program. Same with FOX. If they say it enough over and over and over and over and over and then one more time, it becomes TRUE to the daily watcher.
As for GAS prices, EVEN FOX business just this morning said "capitalism is the customer and business agreeing on a price and paying for it" ...."if a customer pays 4.55 a gallon, then capitalism is working just fine"...."if a customer doesnt like the price, then they shouldnt but gas and the business will bring down the price"...( stewart varney, Andrew napalotano, Tracy byrnes )

And if this is simple capitalism, what does supply have to do with anything?
We are being gouged by the oil companies in the first quarter and it will continue to creep down over the next 30 days. Today , OPEC has agreed to increase production in order to get the price of oil DOWN.
