there are degree's of libertarinism his one of the purist that basically hates anything the government does. He should however have run as a libertarian so no one questions his motives. Instead he ran as a republican because thats what you have to do to get the job he has. As such he keeps stabbing the republicans in the back and grandstanding with some of his comments that insult the party and their objectives. i don't personally like leaders who pretend to be one thing and act like something else.He’s not a nut job, he’s correct. in the case of real ID I'm not sure how i feel about it. to me its the same as a passport which I also have.

He has libertarian leanings for sure. But I would call him more of a constitutionalist and a fiscal conservative. Trump is definitely not that. He’s a big spender and loves debt.
No one can explain to me how real ID keeps us safer. Because it doesn’t. It’s just an intrusion.
Having a passport is quite different than being told You can no longer fly domestically if you don’t have a certain ID. People who like to use the idea that you can use a car to drive across the country are the same people who would tell you the government should be able to limit you to a musket rifle instead of a modern rifle, because that’s what they had when constitution was written. People will essentially be locked out travel. And with biometrics very close by it will get more difficult. And your information will be at the whim whoever is in charge at the moment.

i don't know how to stop it . My information is already in those databases . I guess i could have bought a cabin in the mountains and sold moonshine but in order to function and make a living i already had to get a drivers license, airport id. to travel i already had to get a passport .

Well, the first thing we should’ve done is vote for more people like Thomas Massey. Going along to get along is getting us nowhere. A bad unconstitutional idea given to us by a Republican is still just as bad as a bad unconstitutional idea given to us by Democrat. I like politicians who are willing to call balls and strikes. Calling it grandstanding doesn’t really play with Thomas Massey as he doesn’t really care about moving up the ladder in politics.

@Doublestandards has some good ideas, although the hate all things Trump Seems to weigh him down just a little bit imo.
I don’t hate all things Trump, just like I didn’t hate all things Biden.
I will say the two party system in our country has made it impossible to question either sides policies or else you’re labeled Some sort of extremist.

That’s because most politicians have zero principles. They go to Washington and fall in line with their party because they want the party to support them in the next election with their money.
The original Congress did not get along ever they used to shoot each other and fight lol. They had real arguments about constitutionality.
