Then there are those that don’t. I had some terrible CMs, and some decent ones. The tone was set from the top, so the on cars were pricks or not depending on the CMs personality. Ironically, one of the most devious CMs I had was the most lenient when it came to trash talking each other, and not friendly talk either. He once told me to go home and hang myself, I told him to eff himself. Came in next day like nothing happened. Not a friendly exchange. Different world in the 90s.
Am I gonna have to go looking for the whole story here?

I’ve gotten into some pretty intense confrontations with a supervisor, where looking back I easily could have been fired for the words exchanged
I definitely learned my lesson after learning more about the contract and codes of conduct from here and watch my mouth now, but I gained a lot of respect for that supervisor for not writing me up in anyway and just dealing with it man to man
