The report, that President Trump was considering a pause on his expansive tariffs, spread on social media and was amplified by CNBC and Reuters. The White House called the claim “fake news.”

He was denouncing the media and saying he wouldn’t pause tariffs for 90 days just a couple of days ago.

Now here we are facing retaliatory tariffs by allies and now he wants a pause.
If Trump was sticking to his guns he would have immediately raised tariffs on the EU for announcing retaliatory tariffs like he did to china.
