THE TRUMP 2024 THREAD

trump has a little socialist in him
Man I’m telling you, I really believe Trump could be the best president ever if he just got both sides to compromise a little. I think he has a rare gift where he’s one of the rare ones who could do it

he could get so many issues by just “leaving it up to the states”.

Raise taxes for the ultra rich while cutting for the working class

Leave drug laws up to the state so it’s no longer federal and stops :censored2:ing with the second ammendment.

He could take on Russia hard economically like you pointed out while reducing military budget

His latest tweet about Ukraine did give me more hope for him again. I hate the :censored2: he’s doing with deportations and due process, I hate the environmental stuff he’s doing (I know you guys disagree with me on that), but I really do think he could be an awesome president if he used his powers for good lol. And I think a lot of his supporters would work with him and compromise with him

Leave our second amendment alone, reduce federal power and leave it up to the states, strengthen our first amendment (and 4th) abolish the ATF and DEA

I would be fine ending all government subsidies and welfare and massively reducing taxes. I want a more libertarian government, strong 1st 2nd and 4th ammendment, but I do want environmental regulations, and I do want to protect our public lands

i guarantee you theres animosity
Vietnam does $150 billion in exports to the U.S. And people visiting are treated very well. You need to realize different cultures have different values and don't look at everything the same way. The Vietnamese say that was the past and can't be changed. You want to hang everything over America's head but most people in the world have moved on.

its going to be a roller coaster ride , some days I'm High fiving and some days I'm cringing with something he said. I absolutely love his innovation and love that he's working himself to death trying to take on so many different issues.

someday when the results come in on this presidency we're going to have a thread just to figure out what he was politically because he's not a republican .

Weren't we against disclosing details on strikes during the whole SignalGate thing?
Hmm, with the whole signal gate thing, maybe the Trump admin ironically is the most transparent administration

Democrats should decide whether they want disclosure of details on strikes or not.

Even in the things I feel like he’s done wrong, he definitely moves faster than one expects from a politician.

I’m guessing he messes some things up royally, and fixes some things nobody else could.

Definitely do not regret my vote so far. (Pretty much just for the record. Lol.)

Accidentally sending them to a reporter in an encrypted Signal chat: bad!

Purposefully sending them to the media: good!
Oh wait you weren’t joking? I thought you were being sarcastic lol

Discussing war plans before they happen on an unsecured server: bad!

Not disclosing military strikes to the public after they happen: also bad!

Lol. I guess the only two options are sharing war plans on unsecured server or no details for anyone. Decisions decisions
Its my understanding that in the past when a military strike was taking place there were journalist who were allowed to observe or listen in during the action with the understanding that they could not report on it until after the action was completed. that accidently happened with signalgate one.

i have no problem with signal gate one that was with people who had a need to know and there really was nothing earth shaking with one.

i do have a problem with number 2 . the wife and lawyer do not have a need to know. clearly this is some kind of special access text group and its wrong in every way. None had a need to know, and hegseth did not have a need to communicate. regardless of whether the investigation finds the information is classified or not he should be fired on that text message alone for not taking security seriously enough.

I thought Hegseth was the wrong guy for the pentagon job. You have to have exceptional leadership and management skills to manage the pentagon and he's clearly in over his head. I'm pretty sure Hegseth knows he's on a short leash with trump.

there may be something unusual about the latest yemen attacks they don't want to reveal . The middle east is the place to watch right now . We've moved alot of naval assets in the region recently. thats either to pressure Iran to negotiate or because somethings getting ready to go down.
