If this happened in 1975 or watever year you said, Why would anyone or the millions dead or injured or knowing ppl who were, just be able to move on, as you say?

You seem to be unaware that half of Vietnam wanted us there fighting the communists. It's been over 50 years since we left. We are also closely allied with Japan and Germany. We lost a lot more people fighting them. People move on. Doesn't do any good to constantly hold something over someone's head the mistakes and sins of others. Hate to tell you this but thousands of Americans are living in Vietnam now and they feel very welcomed.
Weren't they doing that before the tariffs? The Vietnamese have developed a lot of industry in recent decades.

theres a rumor Israel was ready to hit Iran and trump asked them them to hold up. He may have asked for a specific time period to give Iran one last chance to negotiate. To me Iran is run by idiots. They've been funding all the proxies while neglecting their own capabilites. The last time Israel hit them they completely wiped out their air defense in one strike. the last time i checked the only naval warships they have were three battleships from the 50's that were down more than they were up. with the last skirmish they they fired some missles just to make it look they stood up to Israel but it was a highly pathetic and totally ineffective effort.

Dude that was only 50 years ago. A lot of vietnamese are either dead, or injured from your war of demonic terror, or they know someone who was.
I wish them justice and the will to build a better world where ppl follow the golden rule amongst other things.

i think there may have been a little more to that story then keeping their job.
quite a few americans as well as the french before them and others from other countries. and when we all left they must have missed us because they turned that brutality on their own people.
the viet cong did not know what the golden rule was nor did they care. the chinese who supported them spoke the golden rule with the vipers tongue.

How many Vietnamese died in "reeducation" camps after the war? How many fled to the States? Your problem is you only see the U.S. as the evil perpetrator. How can you say theyve moved on after being permanently injured as recent as 1975? Many of them live with the effects of that criminal immoral invasion every day.

you really should educate yourself before you just spout off verbiage from the communist manifesto.
french did try to colonize the country and were defeated. the US never tried to colonize vietnam.
vietnam was split into north and south in 1954.
the US suported the south to stop the spread of your people the communist.
when they went in they did so legally to support south vietnam and to help protect them. the last time i checked helping a friend against northern aggression is not immoral.
the help was initially to train their troops to form effective armies that could defend themselves against communist aggression from the north.
the south vietnam armies were woefully inadequate at fighting and often corrupted from within by the north vietnamese.
with google and AI it takes minutes to find this information out and keep you from sounding like you dont have a clue.
If they were say 30 in 1968 then they would be 87 now if still alive. Most people in Vietnam today weren't alive or were very young during the war. They've moved on.
The problem with white liberals is you want to be seen as the defender of every wronged party of all races except whites. Whites are to be blamed for all that's wrong in the world. A white guy can grow up, live, work, and die in a small Midwest town without ever harming anyone yet you'll see him as part of the problem. Terrible things happened somewhere at some time involving white people and you want to hold the white race guilty.for all time. Thus you are the defender of yellow people in a far away land. They go about their lives not going woe is me but you say they are suffering and you must show them solidarity for the wrongs they suffered. They've moved on but in your mind they never will. Because white people did them wrong and you must pay penance. Wake up.
