"Audio obtained by USA TODAY from a 2020 court hearing in Maryland shows Jennifer Vasquez Sura pleading with a judge for temporary protection from her husband, Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the wrongfully deported Salvadoran migrant at the center of a deportation storm.

Abrego Garcia “grabbed me from my hair, and then he slapped me,” Vasquez Sura said in her 2020 testimony to a judge."

He’s scum

You can certainly look at it that way but protectionism is alive and well in much of the world and Trump is trying to break into those markets. Don't assume because you can buy a Toyota here that a Japanese man can buy a Chevy in Japan. No matter how you look at it the middle class in the U.S. in the last 40 years has shrunk significantly while our national debt has increased exponentially trying to keep a large part of our population afloat. No other president has tried to tackle this. Maybe there's a better way to do it but if so why hasn't it been done?

Nobody in Japan is buying a :censored2:ing Chevy.

I know a small business owner who said they would love to see Trump put 500% tariffs on China. I just smiled and nodded. Their business is 98% imports from China. That's their bread and butter. They are completely and totally delusional.

I don’t know why these people don’t ask their truck driver his financial advice. They would be millionaires!

This isn't difficult stuff, is it?
Yes, it’s very difficult. Especially when you have no idea what you’re talking about nor do you know what’s going to happen.

I don’t even know how you walk out of the house every day without curling up in a ball in the back of your truck with your thumb in your mouth crying. 😂

You are so fabulously wrong all the time it’s difficult to take you seriously.

But please carry on

145% tariffs are in place. If they continue, what is likely to happen to the small business owner who makes a living selling specialty merchandise from China? Will they have empty shelves or will they be forced to raise their prices, or some combination of the two?

This is a simple thought experiment for us and very real for this small business owner.

What do you think are the possibilities for this person if the 145% tariffs continue? This is first week of Econ 101 stuff, come on buddy. You can do it.
