I read an article (Politico or something similar) where some of Trump's biggest critics were lamenting this because, they point out, that he's always been able to turn a crisis to his advantage and that he thrives on being in the spotlight. The 2016 Democrat strategy was to make Trump the nominee and then make him the center of attention with the belief being that they would expose every mistake he made and then maximize the effects thereof and HRC would skate to victory.

You are a liar. I didn't say he was making things worse. I have said he isn't making things better, and encouraging people to go right to congregating too soon WILL kill people. Trump has NEVER strongly encouraged people to stay home, yet he is taking credit for the decline due ONLY to governors and mayors requiring shutdowns. Trump makes a lukewarm statement saying some places need to close down, but encourages other to open right back up when it is proven that shutting down is stopping the spread. There are tens of thousands of people walking around who will be contagious for possibly a month, and Trump wants them wandering around. It only took a few people to bring the virus to millions, and Trump, and some of the posters here are so stupid that they think having thousands of asymptomatic people going to restaurants and offices again will be a good thing.
