the last shooting with reagan was also a coverage assignment error. Secret service had a coverage plan that did not include the DC police. DC police complained so they gave them the press line to cover. Shooter came out of the press line.

It was outside their security perimeter, but it was a small area.

second coverage error is that this guy was able to climb up on a roof and get in position for a shot without the secret service snipers taking him out prior to his shot.

everyone is thanking the secret service for a great job right now but they screwed up. If the shooter understood tennessee windage and kentucky elevation trump would be dead right now.

Yeah one guy was saying that they saw the shooter going up to the roof and they told SS and police- he was ignored -but he said the roof was structured in a way that it gave him coverage. Definitely something to follow because it looks like the sniper team was facing that way.

yea probably difficult to see with the roof angle from the ground . Secret service snipers should and i believe were on the highest roof top available.

I don't believe the vest shot theory. The video would have looked different if it'd caught one from a rifle. Like he'd taken a strong punch.
