Oh, the border is fixed? Lmfao!
Compare current monthly crossings vs the Biden administration. A few hundred vs hundreds of thousands. If you're going to be snarky at least buy a clue.

Again, you are infatuated with Biden and Obama. Stick to the issue, which is still not fixed, then call me.
I misspoke. I should've said down to a few hundred a day vs as many as 10,000 a day under Biden. But essentially the border is fixed. Possibly the lowest numbers ever are crossing. Thank you @Box Ox for the chart showing that. Fact is Biden intentionally let in over twelve million people unvetted and assisted them in moving them around the country. Then gave them $billions in support. So much so that he dipped into FEMA funds to do that. Funny how all of a sudden the focus has shifted from the border to the roundup and deportation of illegals.

It’s fun to just characterize everything the way you want to characterize them!

That taxpayer/consumer is ultimately paying the tariff. Tariffs are nothing but a tax increase on us minions. :censored2:ing joke they are trying to pass them off as being paid by foreign countries.
Sooooo....if the Chinese pay the tariff, and then raise their prices, are you just going to roll over and buy whatever they're selling?

Maybe try another liberal trick, and boycott their products, until they lower the price.

Or learn to do without all the toys.

The Chinese don't pay the tariff. The US importing company pays. Hope this helps.

You are clueless about the difference between a worthless liberal arts education, and eating?

Let me help you. Which can you do without?
You're clueless if you believe all degrees are worthless. Next time you need a medical procedure I suggest you go to a faith healer.

Almost half of all corn grown goes into producing ethanol and then our gas. Consume some of that ethanol and let me know how that works out for you. One of the biggest scams ever put over on us.

You must have flunked your critical thinking skills also. I simply stated not all degrees are worthless. Take it you would be behind government bailouts to those with STEM degrees?
Just because you insert a strawman into the argument doesn't make your argument cogent.

The only consideration I would give to student loan bailouts would be to lower the interest rate to zero with a maximum 10 year payback.

Maybe adopt the foreign student's method. "International students seeking to study in the US often rely on personal and family resources, scholarships, grants, and sometimes private loans, as they are generally ineligible for federal or state aid."

Is that what Walmart is doing?

Makes sense. Trump's base tariff on the whole world is 10%. If something costs Walmart $100 to import currently, and it costs Walmart $90 to import tomorrow, a 10% tariff on it tomorrow won't mean they've got additional costs to potentially pass on to the American consumer.

Yes, Walmart or it's American suppliers pay the tariff. Walmart wants China to eat the costs but ultimately the burden is on Walmart. Bottom line is American consumers will ultimately pay the tax. It's a regressive tax that Trump doesn't give a :censored2: that the average person will be hurt by.

You're assuming that these tariffs will be on forever. Trump wants China to open their market to American products like cars, which are pretty much shut out. Comes down to whether China needs to sell its products more to the U.S. than than protect its industries from foreign competition.
